Nudge

Okay, so if you think the new nudge feature is just nifty, great! Fantastic!

Me, I'm not real keen on it. I post when I feel I have something to say or a silly meme to share. So I have turned off the 'nudge' feature on my account. How can you do this? Go to the admin console and type in:

set disable_nudge 1

All credits to [livejournal.com profile] mpoetess for this fix, for all that she doesn't know me from Adam, but does write nifty stories. :)

Heh, I'd never heard of it. What does it do?

NUDGE!!

Makes no sense to me, the nudge feature, when you can just go to the journal of the non-poster and post a sincere, heartfelt and indivually tailored message.

Such as, "Post, dammit! Unless you're in a body cast. Then get someone else to post for you."

Like mine? I do. Not that I'd want to force anyone. But I did leave a comment just the other day in an old friend's journal. She left very down and at a turning point. So, I'm worried. And somehow, I don't think some generic message about how she needs to post is going to convey that particular thought.

Hugs, cause I like you.
