What a week! Thursday was lovely, having snowed a massive amount. Of course, it meant that the final for one of my classes got cancelled, but the test it online anyway. Folks can make it up on their own this weekend.
Today is a shopping day! Woo! Yes, here we are well into December, and I still do not have an Christmas shopping done. Bad me! So Dean and I are off to go attack the mall and see what we can find. Most folks will be getting gift certificates, but kiddos need toys, or at least they do in my opinion. And since our entire horde of nephews ranges from ages 1 to 9, we're going to be spending a good chunk at toy stores. Oof. Oof oof oof. Not that I'm complaining, as buying for kids is a blast! It just seems like the number of children on my shopping list expands yearly. That, thankfully, is a good thing, because it means there's more kids for me to play with too. So long as my inlaw siblings who have 3 kids don't have any more, we're good, as we have to be really careful in buying balanced gifts for the kids in that household. Okay, enough rambling. Time to shop and brave the crowds! If we don't make it, tell my mother she's my life insuance beneficiary!
