Stupid hands

This post is mainly just to update folks on all the little stuff in my life. :) I may or may not be online much today. My right hand decided to start acting up last night, hence the heading off to bed earlyish (for me, at least). Today it's actually a lot worse, and I'm really wishing I had an ergonomic keyboard. Seriously considering one, as much as I love my current Logitech. My work keyboard is an older Gateway, and, well. Ow. Anyhow, typing is a real adventure. I've taken drugs though, and I'm hoping that helps soonly enough. I also have a doctor's appointment about it for later today. He'll probably tell me to go buy a heating pad, but it'll be a peace of mind type thing.

Tomorrow, Dean and I are headed off to spend a couple days out of town. Nothing special, we're just going to get away for a few days and spend time together. We're headed down to Dover, of all places, to stay at a Comfort Suites. Why Dover? Because there isn't a blessed thing to do down there, and we can vegetate utterly. I'm taking Evanovich books and crocheting, and am shutting off the brain for two days. Okay, marginal brain activity. I still have to be able to bicker back at Dean, of course. ;) We'll be leaving Saturday afternoon and coming back Monday afternoon, though, and I'll have my cell phone if anyone needs me for anything at all.

So the littlest things make me happy. Like the fact that I do not have arthritis at the age of 31. I have a far more common case of tendonitis, or tendinitis. I have seen it spelled both ways, from reputable medical websites. Anyhoo, some Celebrex is making life a world better. I'm supposed to keep heat on it too. Yes, yes, I'm psychic. ;)
