Already?

Yup, it's already a shiny day. It looks like I'm about to get griped out by multiple people for my handling of billing, because we all know it's my fault that I can't tackle parents and force them to give me money. That, and I about hacked off a finger trying to cut a bagel in half this morning. Maybe I'll just go back to bed. *sigh*

Good news!

Sometimes the little things are just so cool! I was able to order -both- the Norah Jones CD and the soundtrack to Once More With Feeling for under $7, thanks to free shipping from Amazon and some Vividence gift certificates. I just got the email saying they'd been shipped. Yay! Also, the tavern down the street had the world's best chicken noodle soup today. Major comfort food. And I got to read Stephanie Plum during lunch. And instead of getting in trouble at the meeting earlier, I actually voiced an opinion on a part of our policy that I adamantly feel is unfair, and it got changed! Woo!

I've still got a little wiggle of sad floating about, driving me nuts because I had no idea why, but then it dawned on me that it's just that I'm going to miss the folks that are flying out tomorrow. Yes, I'm a silly sap, I admit it. So to you people headed out of town tomorrow, have a wonderful, amazing trip, stay safe, and know that prayers and happy thoughts are going on over on this side of the pond, and that you'll be missed!
