Major warm fuzzies!

We have early childhood students that come down from the college and do short activities with the kids. Now, there's easily forty or fifty of these kids, so we're able to really watch and see who is doing well. Once in a while, we'll see someone really neat and be needing staff, and we can tap one of them and ask them to fill out an application. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So we've had this one young lady who's been coming down here for two semesters, and just doing a bang-up job. She's reliable, she's personable, and dang it, she's got the -best- name. Abhilasha, which evidently means 'desire' in an Indian dialect. I nudged the boss about her a few weeks ago, and then was given the okay to ask Abhilasha if she wanted to apply for a job. Today she brought back her application, got an interview on the spot, and was hired. After all was said and done, she came out and asked ever so politely if she could give me a hug, and did so. She's clearly thrilled, and that totally makes my day. Bigtime work warm fuzzies. :)
