So one of the newer computer guys here on campus comes down to fix our preschool computer. (It needs reformatting.) I've got SimpleMU up on my machine, which I often do. I don't RP from work because I just don't have time, but I do stay logged on to watch the chatter or interject a comment now and again, although I often tend to idle like mad. Still, I have it up and running. The computer guy needed to use my machine to get some drivers, and brightened right up. "You MUSH!" I boggled. Not only is he a long-time MUSHer (Yes, a man that MUSHes! Gasp! I know you guys are out there, but admit it, you're rare!), he runs a Trek game of his own, and has been MU*ing since 91. So we nattered about various games and experiences, and were generally astounded to just run into someone with the same hobby. He's at the same point I'm at, too busy with RL to do anything with great regularity, and I sympathized. I may go poke around his game just for fun and look despite Trek not being my cup of tea. Nice guy though, and he passed on some snazzy addresses.

So there's my freaky fun moment of the day! I could rant about work, but I'm not going to. Suffice it to say I broke down and had to go vent at my boss for a while. I'll be glad for 4pm today, yupyup. Heck, noon's coming up. I may wander down to the riverfront and get a big old salad and turn my brain off a while.

Yesterday was all sorts of good though. There was the kitten saving karma, and I've got flyers up at work. I'm hearing a -lot- of 'Awwww! -Cute-!' Which, well, is accurate! Then I got to pick Dean up (early!) at the train station near us. It's finally open again! Yay! Then last night was Melting Pot, which was fantastic! By the time I got home, I was utterly zoned, but it was all worth it.
