Yay Dean!

Dean had his motorcycle training class this past weekend, and he passed! Yay Dean! Now all he has to do is take the card in and he can have the motorcycle certification added to his driver's license, and then we can get him a motorcycle! He's a happy man, if a very, very sore man. Evidently riding a motorcycle uses a whole new set of muscles, not to mention just the whole test stress thing.

Me, I've cancelled my class tonight in favor of heading to the doctor's office. The cold has zoomed to my chest rather than going away, and seems to be taunting me with bronchitis. I learned my lesson about a year and a half ago after not sleeping for 5 days from coughing and ending up in the ER for an afternoon. If sleep is elusive, time to go visit the nice doctor man.

The weekend was wonderfully quiet, since I was at home when I wasn't teaching, basically just zoning and trying to sleep. Figaro decided, however, that this was unacceptable, and spent from 6am to 10am yesterday waking me up about every 5 minutes until I finally gave up and got up. Anyone know a recipe for cat chop suey? ;)

Edited because I forgot: Oh! The phone is working again. Yay Verizon! They had it fixed before I even got home from work on Saturday!
