This morning I told Ruth about the position with Allied Health. I'm pretty sure she's not exactly happy about it, but she was very matter of fact. No problems there, I can handle that. She seemed very pleased that I plan to write up documentation about everything I do. Personally, I just think that's common sense. I mean, I do a lot of nit-picky things. If I leave documentation, then it teaches the next person, -and- I get less potential "Ack! Lisa! How do I do...?" phone calls. ;) Now I just have to call the substitute place and let them know I won't be starting with them.

Humor for the day: I get a call yesterday as I'm leaving work.
Phone: "Mrs. Feazell? This is Amanda with Cavalier. I just wanted to let you know we -did- find your rent check, and everything is fine."
Me: "-Huh?"
Phone: "Oh, I guess you haven't gotten the letter yet. In your mail today or tomorrow, you'll get a letter saying you're past due on rent."
Me: "Um, okay? I -did- pay my rent, I remember doing it."
Phone: "Oh, yes, and we found it! We had it filed under the wrong apartment number. Sorry about that! Have a nice day!"
Me: "...?"(Sure enough, when I got home, said letter was in the mail, and I did snicker a lot.)
