Dreaming of...Monday?
Oct. 21st, 2003 08:44 amRight now? Heck yeah. Yesterday was utterly fantastic. Frankly, the weekend was pretty good too. Still, I got Dean to the train station early yesterday and realized I was too tired to move, and my stomach was a little wonky. I had coverage at work, and knew for the first time in -ages-, if I called out, no one would be inconvenienced! Yaaay! So mental health day for Lisa! And man, was it ever glorious, too. I slept off and on until nearly 1pm, which tells me that I needed the sleep for some reason. The fact that I was having Earth 2 type dreams complete with an E2 Clancy Brown didn't hurt even remotely, either. I finally dragged myself out of dreamland about 12:30 though, got up and flipped on the computer, made myself tea and cinnamon cream of wheat and a couple toaster waffles with strawberry preserves, and sat down to just futz, read fanfic, and finish setting up the midterm for my Monday night class. I did go to class too, I was a good girl there, at least. After class, I hit the pharmacy, only to be pleasantly surprised that my insurance is again covering Dean's prescriptions, and his inhaler was cheap again! Yay!
And then I saw it. Of all things, in the grocery store, they had a small display rack of full length leather trench coats for $40. Pretty, soft, black leather trench coats. Granted, it's mosaic patterned patches, but still veryvery nice! They seemed to be pretty undersized, as an XXL isn't too long on me in length, only in the sleeves. Heck, I'm 5'2", -everything- is too long in the sleeves. Anyhow, I poinged home with my prizes of insurance covered inhaler, leather coat, and frozen pizza, cooked said pizza, and sat down to yet more fanfic and futzing.
( Girl stuff, bra related, clipped for sanity. )
Today, I'm back at work, which thrills me to no end. No, really. The job that will never end, because they'll never let me fricking leave. I'm going back to Monday. ;)
