Today is one of those blagh days. It's nasty overcast outside, I have to take the car in to have the horn replaced and an oil change today, and I'm feeling kinda off about the whole 'getting into shape' idea. It's just so danged -slow-. I see these people on the low-carb diets in the news losing like three and four pounds a week, and just boggle. Of course, it would help if I actually paid closer attention to what I eat. I've been thinking about it a lot, and one of my biggest downfalls is chips (of any sort). I may try cutting them out of my diet entirely unless it's a social situation. Blah. I really hate dieting. I'd rather work out 2 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not that I have time to do that, but I'd rather do it. Ah, well, it's time to start poking at the dreaded D-word I suppose. Feh. Although today I noticed the muscles in my upper arms are starting to get some definition! That's a goodness! :)
On the good side, I'm writing again! I wrote a good 2000 words yesterday morning, and I plan to try that much today too. Granted, it's utter tripe and not fit for human reading, but it felt good just to get that much text out.
And if today is voting day in your state and you're allowed to vote in the primary, get out there and do so! It'll bring you wealth and prosperity and health and you'll win the lottery! Okay, not really. But if you vote, then you can bitch all you like if you don't like the outcomes. ;)
