And they pay me to do this!

So tonight's 1st year teacher training was basically a mid-semester morale booster. Normally I pfft at morale boosting meetings, but y'know? This worked. They had our students make us cards. I noticed two trivial funnies: one, all the kids colored my hair with an orange crayon when they drew me - and two, I need to teach them to spell 'music'.

But best of all was what they wrote.

The one that made me laugh the most: "You are the best music teacher in the whole school!" (And, um, the only one.) ;)

The one that made me sniffle - a lot: "You are the best teacher. Let me know if I can do anything for you. I will always be there for you."

And yeah, they pay me to do this. Pretty amazing, huh?
