Yegads and little fishes!
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:21 pmFor once, I have not brought the plague home from school. I caught it at home, went to school yesterday, and was promptly sent -home-. Evidently I looked like death warmed over. This was unsurprising. I felt that way, given the cold sweat, shakes, and a stomach that really was threatening to rebel. It never did, thank goodness, but only by dint that I went home and slept for a really really long time. Thankfully, the principal and her secretary took over for me, got me a sub, and all I had to do was print out my sub plans (I keep a copy written up on my computer at work, and just edit the details as needed.) I managed to eat a bit last night, although low-fat ginger noodle soup was far kinder to me than the fried chicken was, oh yes. Today I managed lunch just fine, but sleeping is still the big issue as I'm rather dizzy. Slept till noon. Got up, showered, went to lunch with Dean, came home, slept another 4 hours. Considering sleep again. Joy.
On the happy side?
tajnyj, you rock. And you know why. I crave more chaos when I'm back amongst the living, my dear! Also? The game 'Fable: The Last Chapters' is delightful! A big cludgey on the controls, but good story and addictive fun. That is all. Happy Saturday, all!
On the happy side?
