breoaigitIsn't it, like, illegal to call your employees at 5:30AM? My boss called me at this ungodly hour to inform me one of our teachers would be out today and tomorrow. Great, good to know. But at 5 fricking 30 in the morning?!
To quote Pete Abrams: That's it. I'm going back to bed. (I wish, at least.)
Have to take Dean to the docs this afternoon. He's having heartburn issues from hell, even after cutting various things from his diet. Tums and famotidine aren't working all that well anymore. So I'm skipping out of work a little early to head up to Claymont with him.
Still no news on the Blackhawk downed at Ft. Drum. I haven't heard from my parents either though, which I have to admit is a relief. I got a really strong feeling out of nowhere last night that my father is keeping an eye on my brother, kind of an old soldier looking out for the young soldier. Yeah, it's ridiculous. For one, my father passed away over two years ago, and he wasn't my brother's father. (Eric's my half-brother technically.) But it was this really overwhelmingly strong sensation. Real? Not? Am I projecting my hope that my brother is safe? Who knows. But it gave me warm fuzzies, and I'll take what I can get.
