I was wondering, would it be okay for me to leave at 3:30pm every day, like I do on Thursdays? editor's note: Ruth okayed both me coming in early and me leaving early on Thursdays.

A world of WTF, here. Yeah, Barbara is our immediate supervisor. But how come all of a sudden I have to go to the department head for minor shift oddities? Wisdom for the day: Rubber bands only stretch so far before they break.
In good news, the lady I need to speak to in HR for insurance foo is here today, and her baby doesn't seem to have strep. Yay! Also, I managed to score Breyer's chocolate chip ice cream last night for $2.74 a 1/2 gallon. It's the little things in life sometimes. ;)
