Happy fireworks day!

breoaigitOnly no fireworks for us. They're legal, but after a month of no rain and multiple 100+ degree days in a row, we decided it'd be just a teensy bit dangerous. Wish our neighbors felt the same.
Anyhoo, home from a four-day trip to San Antonio to meet up with all of Dean's family. Lots of fun at Sea World and other good stuff, but hot. Very. Very. Hot. As in heat exhaustion or near it every single day for me. So hot. Hot hot hot. Home now, and dinner was a lovely campfire with brats, fruits and veggies, and strawberries and toasted marshmallows for dessert. Tiiiiirrred now, but full and happy. And I think our internet might be stable again! Finger crossing!
