Motivation?
May. 19th, 2003 10:03 amI'm just not feeling it. Nope. Nada. I want to sit and stare at the television and switch my brain off. I want to make a couple eggs over medium and a piece of toast and hot chocolate for breakfast, then go back for a nap. I want to spend the afternoon zoning. I want an entire day where I have no responsibilities, nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I also want a million dollars, a pony, and a cruise to Alaska, while we're at it. ;)
Actually, of all that, I do have the hot chocolate, and I'm headed out for lunch with the boss today for Chinese food. She busted her ass getting so much done for Saturday, and while she thanked everyone, no one really did anything for her. So I'm thinking there's this great Chinese buffet up on Market St., and I'll take her up there for lunch.
I have tomorrow off. Snoopy dance of joy! I get to sleep in! Well, a little. We have tons to do, which is why we have the day off. We're taking the Sable to Goodwill tomorrow. After buying it for $1500, putting $3000 of repairs into it, and finding it still needs at -least- another $800 of repairs? Hello, time to be all charitable with the piece of crap. We also have to go sign our new lease for the apartment, and then head off to Dean's onocologist appointment. Hopefully, and probably, the doc will tell us that he's still in the clear. And then the Buffy finale! Woohoo! I'm almost glad it's the end, because it'll be a relief not to be in suspense.
Happy Monday, folks! Have a great week!
