This is what I get for thinking!
May. 3rd, 2005 05:24 pmSee, I always thought testing Kindergarteners would be easy, right? I mean, how hard can it get? Can they count to 20? Can they spell their name? No, there are 22 individual parts of the language arts profile test and 26 of the mathematics profile test. Most parts are broken down into several sub-parts. Many take easy 5-15 minutes each.
Each child has to be tested individually.
Yup. Twenty kiddos. Huge test. One at a time.
Ow.
But you know what? I finished today! Wee-hah! I had some help from a few other teachers, although I did the bulk of the work, and I just finished documenting everything properly after school. Tomorrow I'll turn the results into the district for tabulating. Yaaaaaay!
Tomorrow is also our Mother's Day Picnic, and my Mom is bringing me lunch just like all the other kids' moms. I made her a flower out of construction paper, like the kids did. Shhh. Don't tell her. It's a surprise! :)
