Happy Consumer Day!

Lovely, beautiful day. The weather was gorgeous even after a rainstorm last night. I slept for 13 hours last night (thank you codeine and benedryl, for which yes I have a prescription for the former due to raging bronchitis). I got Blade Trinity, then signed up for a massage at Whole Foods. While waiting, we hit Capezio and I got my new tap shoes! Whee! They're lovely and fit like a glove, and I adore them. Never mind that it's been ten years or more since I tapped. I can still pull off some goodness, and it'll be good exercise. Back to Whole Foods for massage, then lunch at Chick Fil'A. That was a bit of a bust, on my part at least, as I am also on lovely icky Prednisone and have absolutely no appetite. Saw one of my students though going in, and I think I startled her utterly. Teachers do not belong outside of schools! ;) Then off to Home Depot, where I got yet more gardening goodness and will now attempt to grow garlic chives. We came home and I helped Mom tint the rest of the windows, which is great for heat control, and now we're zoning in the early evening coolness, the windows open and the lights pretty much off.
