When aloe attacks!
Jul. 9th, 2006 11:50 pmWell, most of my sunburn is gone. Most, I say. Friday my brother and I went to the theatre to work on the stage's turntable (which he did a bangup job fixing! Yay little brother! You rock!) Because it was hot, I got sweaty. Because I got sweaty...let's just say blistering is one unpleasant side effect.
( The rest has been snipped for TMI in icky sunburn details. )
And in utterly unrelated and far more pleasant news, I got a membership at Sam's Club today, and what to my wondering eyes did appear? Lo, in one of the aisles, a display of organic cotton bedsheets, king sized, 300 thread count, in three lovely neutral colors. For $35 for the whole set. I kid you not. Fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillow cases for $35. Organic cotton. In comparison, I've been shopping for organic cotton sheets for some time now, and was able to find one sheet for about $50. Not a set, not both fitted and flat together, but one flat sheet for about $50. A whole set was looking to run $120. So anyhow, I enthused, and bought them. And they had organic cotton clothes on sale for mucho good prices, so I got some capris and two t-shirts. Eco-friendly -and- wallet friendly. I now love Sam's. ;)
