Not me! I'm running on 3 hours sleep right now, and oddly enough I'm doing okay. I did hit the post office yesterday, and was glad to get there when I did, as five minutes after I got in line, which was normal and sane, about twenty more people showed up and the line went out the door. Still, two massive boxes and four smaller boxes? Not cheap, nope nope. I'm just glad I didn't go to Mailboxes Etc. this year. Owwww. Then I headed towards home to get gas, then went off for cheap Chinese food. Took that home, and plopped down to watch TV, eat dinner, finish gift wrapping, and zone. About 7pm, [livejournal.com profile] toasterwiz calls me, and speaking about as fast as the guy in the those micro mini race car commercials asks if I want to go to a midnight showing of the Two Towers with her, [livejournal.com profile] moobabe, and their spouses. You'd think my first response would be, "Yes!", right? Alert me, oh yeah, my response was: "Huh?" She repeated the question, because she's a kind lady, and assured me she knew I had to go because I was in class. At this point, I did snicker a lot, and explain that I was just watching TV and wrapping my last few presents. This time I actually heard the question, and of course I said yes! Woo! And I'm glad I did. The movie was incredible, good enough that I didn't notice it was 3am before we were done until I got out of the theater. I will say one thing though...put several hundred people in a warm theater, and by 2:30am, the room will develop a rather interesting odor. The movie was enjoyable enough though that that was only a fleeting though. The only problem, I have to admit, was the temptation to comment about 'Still the prettiest', 'Still not king', and 'Fixed carrot. Go me.' (From [livejournal.com profile] cassieclaire's Very Secret Diaries. Haven't read them? Go! Read! Learn the joys of strawberry bubble bath!) I didn't always avoid the temptation, I must admit. Some scenes just begged for a quietly whispered comment. On a final amusing note, when I told Dean (who had his work Christmas party last night and got home late, and had to sleep rather than stay up till oh-dark-hundred) what I was doing, he laughed at me a lot, informed me I was a fool, and that he planned on taking the early train just to torture me. He didn't, though, and he was even complimentary about how coherent I was on that little sleep. Husband points for being a good sport!

Okay, so clearly I ramble when I've had no sleep. ;) Today I'm working all day, but it's an easy day. I brought apples and pie crust to work, and made an apple pie. It just came out of the oven, and the Center smells pretty good, which is nice. I won't eat any of it, but only because I don't like apple pie, even though I love making it. Go figure. ;) After work I get to hit the post office again (joy), but it has to be the one down in Glasgow since I have to pick up a package. Then it's to the grocery store to pick up the stuff I need to make goodies for the work party tomorrow night. Tonight though is the finale of TAR! Yaaay! A group thing is in the works, and I'm very much looking forward to it. It should be a riot, and Dean will likely make many cheerfully inappropriate comments, because that's just the way he is. He usually yells at them to drown Flo about once an episode. At least. I knew there was a reason I loved him!
