Oh. My. God. My boss honestly, truly thinks this new way she has of doing the schedule is a good thing. She thinks people are going to like it. She's utterly optimistic about this. She's doing this because she thinks it's good, and this has nothing to do with the budget cuts, it turns out.

People are going to like having their hours slashed in third? Um. And -this- is why people get jobs outside the teaching field.

She also thinks if people are silly enough to quit, we can easily find qualified people to replace them. Yeah. Right. We barely found new teachers just to replace the ones that left in May.

I have -got- to get the hell out of this place. I can't watch what's about to happen. We're about to go from one of the best daycares in the state to a crap babysitting place like anywhere else. Thank you, oh generous government that screwed our economy and made it nearly impossible to find a job in this market.

*HUG* That sucks. Out here it's almost opposite. There are huge budget cuts - no PE, no art, no music in school anymore - and there are no jobs for teachers. I hope it turns out better for you, I truly do.
