Sleep, glorious sleep!

See, I -knew- I could score high in sleep! I picked Dean up from the train station last night early, which was nice. He informed me he was taking me out to dinner for heading up to pick him up in Wilmington at 10:30pm last night, and he did! We hit Outback, and it was very nice indeed. There was a good 45 minute wait, but I didn't mind. We discussed car stuff and lots of other things, just enjoying the time together. I had the ribeye, no surprise, and I decided to get a glass of merlot to go with. Uh-huh. Big mistake. By the end of the meal, I honestly felt toasted, three sheets to the wind, drunk. It was -weird-. One glass of wine doesn't do that! Not to me, at least. Now that I think of it, it was probably the mix of a long week, eating a steak having a glass of wine, and having Advil before dinner. I darned near fell asleep in my food towards the end. Dean got me home, though, and I was curled up snoozing by 10:30pm, sound asleep. I slept easily until 9:30am this morning, so I guess the sleep was necessary, or Sutter Home Merlot is just that dangerous. ;)

I made a discovery on the way to dinner, though! We stopped at Rite Aid, where I found Mint Milk Chocolate Hershey's Kisses. Oh. My. God. If you like chocolate mint, and you happen to see these godly creations, buy them up as fast as you can. Think of an Andes mint, only a lot creamier and more comforting. I love these things. I only bought one bag. I have to find more. Talk about a possible addiction!

This morning, I took the car in to get the oil changed, then went to the bank and came home. So far, a nice quiet day. Tonight may be spent celebrating moobabe's belated birthday, and if so, I will have to share the Hershey's of great wonder with her, because of her birthday. Otherwise, I'd have to eat them all myself, and never share! Muahaha! Forget what I learned in kindergarten! ;)
