Alms? Alms for the internet poor?
Mar. 9th, 2005 09:01 pmNope, don't need money, honest! Well, yeah, I do, but who doesn't? ;) Seriously, I'm just on for a few moments before our net dies again. Yes, we are still mostly offline. The cable company is going to run an entirely new line to our house tomorrow just for internet, separate from our television cable line. This will be a newer cable, and set to the ground rather than in the air, and hopefully safer this way. We'll see. Then maybe we can stablize our wireless router. See, this is all conjecture. I am of the opinion that I'll believe it when I see it. ;)
I also have the plague.
And kindergartners amuse the heck out of me: Child: Mrs. Feazell? Is this a bad thing? *extremely sweet and innocent child holds up her middle finger* Me: *I gawk.* Um, yes, sweetie, that's not nice at all. It's much nicer to just wave. Child: Oh! Or the girl scout salute! And look, I got fruit rollups! Me: Much better! And then I go off to die laughing and fall over in relief that five year olds are easily distracted. ;)
